Meet Paranormal at Dusk's investigators. A team of dedicated ghost hunters committed to evidence-based documentation and professional investigation--and fun!
SHANIA
Host, Lead Investigator, Videographer, Researcher, Editor & Media (Founder)
Every team needs someone willing to walk into the dark room first, and that's usually Shania. As the founder and lead investigator, she's the one keeping investigations organized, asking the hard questions, and making sure no lead goes unexplored. While the rest of the team may be debating whether they heard a noise, Shania is already halfway down the hallway figuring out where it came from.
Growing up in a haunted house, (with poltergeist activity), sparked a lifelong fascination with the paranormal, and she approaches every investigation with equal parts curiosity, determination, and skepticism. She's often the voice of reason when things get chaotic—but don't be fooled. If there's work to be done, she's probably already doing it.
MEGAN
Investigator, Co-Lead Videographer, & Researcher
Megan brings curiosity, kindness, and plenty of personality to every investigation. Having grown up in a haunted house, she's always been fascinated by the paranormal. She's also the first to admit she's a little easier to scare than the rest of the team—which often makes for some of our funniest moments. When something strange happens, chances are everyone at home is reacting right along with her.
As a daycare teacher, Megan has a naturally caring and patient nature that shines through during investigations. We like to joke that if any spirits are hanging around, they're probably drawn to Megan because she's one of the friendliest people they'll ever meet.
Confident, fearless, and incredibly observant, Jaclyn has a talent for noticing the details others might miss — whether it's a small change during an investigation or the perfect detail in an outfit. Growing up in a haunted house taught her to trust her instincts, and she's never afraid to follow where they lead.
Jaclyn also has a natural eye for capturing the moment. She instinctively knows when something important is happening and helps make sure those key investigation moments don't go unnoticed. Her attention to detail, strong intuition, and ability to spot what others miss make her an essential part of the team. Whether it's a strange encounter or a great fashion choice, Jaclyn never misses.

JACLYN
MONICA
Investigator, Videographer, & Researcher
Monica is thoughtful, intuitive, and always paying attention. Growing up in a haunted house sparked her fascination with the paranormal, and her strong memory for researched history helps her uncover connections that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Quiet and observant, Monica has a talent for piecing together information and seeing the bigger picture. She's also one of the first people to jump when a floorboard creaks unexpectedly—which makes it even funnier when she's the one calmly explaining the building's history five minutes later.
If a ghost ever starts giving us cryptic clues, Monica will probably solve the mystery while simultaneously wondering if it's too late to leave the room.
THE GHOULS
Every investigation has a beginning.
Ours started when Shania, Megan, and Jaclyn accidentally brought something home after an experience they still talk about today.

What started as a shared fascination with the paranormal turned into a team of investigators with very different personalities, and that's exactly what makes it work. We all grew up experiencing unexplained activity in our homes, which sparked our curiosity about what might exist beyond our understanding.
With a love for ghost hunting, spooky stories, and the unknown, we created this channel to share our investigations and experiences. Monica later joined as the bonus friend we didn’t know we needed.
We each bring different strengths, instincts, and a little bit of “witchy intuition” to every investigation. Whether that's experience, gut feelings, or something harder to explain, we'll let you decide.
Investigation Equipment
We utilize high-precision instruments to document and analyze unexplained phenomena with objective, evidence-based methodology.
No single device can prove paranormal activity on its own. We use multiple tools and investigative methods to document, compare, and analyze experiences while considering both natural and unexplained possibilities.

REM Pod
The REM Pod creates its own electromagnetic field and alerts investigators when something comes close enough to disturb it. Lights and sounds indicate when the field has been interrupted.

Dead-Bell
The Dead-Bell is an interactive device that allows investigators to invite potential communication through a physical bell mechanism. Any activation is carefully documented and reviewed within the context of the investigation.

Polaroid Camera

Sometimes old-school is the best school. Our Polaroid camera produces instant physical photographs, giving us a unique way to document locations and moments during an investigation. Plus, there's something fitting about using a vintage camera while exploring places with a lot of history.
Spike Yes/No Pod
The Spike Yes/No Pod is designed to provide visual responses through colored lights when asked direct questions. Investigators may use it during communication attempts to look for patterns or intelligent responses.

EMF Reader

Spirit Box
A Spirit Box rapidly scans radio frequencies, creating bursts of audio that investigators use during communication sessions. Responses are analyzed alongside other evidence collected during the investigation.
An EMF (Electromagnetic Field) Reader measures fluctuations in electromagnetic fields within the environment. During investigations, we monitor unusual spikes that may warrant further examination.

Voice Recorder (EVP Recorder)

One of the most important tools in paranormal investigation, a digital voice recorder is used during EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) sessions to capture audio that may not be heard in real time. Recordings are carefully reviewed after each investigation for potential voices, sounds, or responses.
These motion-activated toys light up when touched or moved. They are often placed in areas of interest to help detect physical interaction with the environment.

Necrometer
Infinity Deck (by Veilhouse)
The Necrometer is a paranormal investigation app that uses a variety of sensors and programmed systems to generate potential responses and environmental readings. It is used as an experimental tool alongside our traditional investigation equipment.
The Infiniti Deck is a communication tool featuring a collection of words, symbols, and concepts designed to encourage interaction and interpretation during investigations. We use it as an experimental method to look for meaningful patterns, connections, and potential responses.

Pendulum
A pendulum is a traditional divination tool that has been used for centuries. During investigations, it may be used as an experimental communication method by asking simple questions and observing directional movement. Any responses are considered alongside other evidence and investigative findings.
